Academic excellence is key to our educational model. At Everest School we encourage rigorous learning in language and math skills. We seek to educate responsible adolescents by developing their intellectual, social and emotional skills. We offer a variety of programs and activities to ensure the comprehensive development of our students.

We provide students with the resources they need to study effectively. To do this, they work from 1st ESO on:

• Planning and organizing the study.
• Concentration and the elements that promote it.
• Understanding the content to be studied.
• The tools or techniques used to process or fix learning.

We are a leading school and therefore we incorporate technology into the academic training of the student, gradually, progressively and in an adapted manner, so that our students learn to use it effectively and efficiently as a tool to increase their productivity, creativity, communicate ideas, learn collaboratively, without forgetting the social and ethical responsibility that comes with using it.

Students learn basic programming, creating apps and websites on all operating systems, as well as designing and printing in 3D and programming robots. This program encourages creativity, problem solving, teamwork and allows them to put into practice knowledge of physics, algebra, electronics, mechanics and computer science.

Developing critical thinking is a priority at this stage. We continue with the thinking strategies initiated in primary school, fostering skills to analyze, reflect, compare, discern, explain and make informed decisions consistent with their values, promoting effective and visible thinking in our students.

We foster research, reasoning, critical thinking, oral expression and collaborative work skills to develop intellectual and communicative skills in both English and Spanish.

We offer public speaking as a subject, Philosophy colloquia, Debate School and workshops on effective presentations.

We prepare our students as global citizens; to do so, we pay special attention to language teaching (English, French and German).

• We are an Official Cambridge Examination Centre, preparing our students to obtain B2 and C1 levels during secondary school.
• In addition, we also teach French or German as a second foreign language.
• Academic training in a foreign language: The subject of History & Geography is taught in English, from 1st to 3rd ES

We strive to provide our students with a wide variety of contexts in which to use the language in addition to their academic English training. They have the opportunity to learn through events, theatre, debate programs, and international study abroad experiences.

The option of a 3rd language (French) is included as an optional subject.

The support of tutors is key to making the right decisions. Tutors guide each student through personal interviews and orientation sessions with our experts from the Francisco de Vitoria University.

We provide tools and support so that each student can choose their path freely and wisely.

From primary school, tutors and counsellors guide students in their learning and comprehensive development, applying adapted strategies and resources. The programme prepares students for the PAU and the transition to higher university studies.

We want our students to experience the joy of giving and to work for the common good and social transformation. With a Social Participation Program, we collaborate with various institutions where

students discover and respond to the needs of others, developing an attitude of greater charity and empathy towards all people

Sport is crucial for the comprehensive development of students. It promotes physical health, improves discipline and teamwork, and enhances skills such as resilience and leadership. In addition, it contributes to emotional balance, reduces stress and promotes values such as effort and personal improvement.
