Educational project

Gathering the best of our educational tradition and constantly researching, we are the safe and quality option in our environment.

Everest School. The excellence of bilingual high school in Madrid for first-class university preparation.

Study techniques

In Baccalaureate, teachers integrate effective study techniques to maximise performance in the PAU and university life. These include planning, scheduling, spotting key ideas, summaries, underlining, memorization techniques and practical work. Tutoring and the guidance department reinforce these skills.

Critical thinking

In high school, we prioritize the development of critical thinking, focusing on the management and handling of information. Our students identify strengths and weaknesses, respond with rigor, make respectful decisions and seek the truth, developing into leaders of positive action.

Public Speaking Program

We teach our students to defend their ideas with solid arguments and tools in both Spanish and English.

To work on and improve their oratory skills, students give public presentations in various disciplines and participate in the National Debate Program.

Art, culture and music

In our artistic baccalaureate, we firmly support art and culture as key elements in the comprehensive development of our students. All subjects are focused on achieving an excellent result in the PAU, maintaining motivation, interest and passion for knowledge, culture and art, so that they discover the authentic values of truth, goodness and beauty in all disciplines and in their personal lives.

Vocational guidance

Tutors guide students in their academic and personal development through personal interviews. They provide guidance in their vocational orientation, offering the tools and support necessary for an informed choice tailored to the specific profile of each student.

Work Experience

We offer our students the Work Experience program, where students receive university and professional advice on different degrees and their career opportunities. In addition, they have the opportunity to do one-week internships in various companies and institutions that they choose according to their professional interests.

University orientation days

We support our students through workshops, round tables with university students and presentations on various courses. We also have the support of our Francisco de Vitoria University and its professionals who guide each student in choosing their university course.

Comprehensive student development

Training trips

Students, together with their teachers and instructors, undertake a pilgrimage at the beginning of each year of high school. In the first year of high school, a five-day pilgrimage to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela and in the second year of high school, a pilgrimage to Poland “In the footsteps of John Paul II”.

Social Participation Program

We encourage the social commitment of our students through a Social Participation Program. In collaboration with various institutions, our students discover the needs of others and learn to respond to them in a committed and effective way, developing an attitude of greater charity and empathy towards all the people around them.

International Volunteering

During the summer, our students, accompanied by their instructors and former students, have the opportunity to voluntarily dedicate part of their vacation to carry out missions in Latin America or to help those most in need at the Hospitality of Our Lady of Lourdes.

Why choose Everest High School?

Catholic and human formation in values is the guiding thread of our training in excellence.

Our society needs people who can move forward, no matter what happens, and that is why the aim of our Baccalaureate is to demand, challenge but at the same time, accompany our students on this path.

Life at school is not only based on the teacher-student relationship. The involvement of all staff in caring for students is essential, including the route service, psychologists, tutors, teachers, administration staff, cafeteria staff, religious staff, family activities such as skiing and the relationship between families.

In addition, we are recognized in various rankings that score, among other aspects, the opinions of families.
